Cooking With Powdered Eggs

by Karena Andrusyshyn

I have not tried to use powdered eggs, but I have used frozen quite well. Some recipes call for yolks or whites in excess of the opposite and I freeze the unused halves. Perhaps I could use the whole powder for things like baking and stir fry, breakfast, frying batter and home made pasta, and the separate ones for those things calling for half eggs and for meringue or such. Can one make mayo with these?

Using Rice in Teabags
I have some drawstring teabags (disposable), and I fill one with dry rice for each jar to keep stuff dry.
