Thank You so much. I appreciate your efforts and your generosity in sharing your work. I started my collection with meat. Please help me understand how meat and vegetables fit in to long term storage. Also, I have purchased some freeze dried meals. How do they change these amounts. Thanks

I buy freeze-dried foods for long term storage. I don't buy many prepared meals as I prefer to put my own ingredients together. The prepared meals I've purchased will come in handy for a quick meal.
I mostly purchase #10 cans or buckets packed with smaller packages of fruits, vegetables and meats. As long as I have these three ingredients, I know I can pull together a meal with them and can add sauces, rice, pasta, spices, or anything else I choose. I also like the separate fruits, vegetables and meats because they have no or very little preservatives and fillers.
