Pasta Primavera With

What is your favorite Italian dish? If it's Pasta Primivera, and you're wondering how to prepare it without going to the grocery store for ingredients, check out your food storage. You may have all that you need.

Pasta Primavera

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of wide noodles
  • 2 tsp of garlic salt
  • 1 tsp of parsley
  • 3 tbsp of Ghee or reconstituted powdered butter
  • 1 can of drained peas and carrots or 1 cup  each of freeze-dried  or dehydrated peas and carrots
  • Freeze dried broccoli, reconstituted
  • Parmesan cheese to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Cook the noodles in boiling water until they are al dente (about 8-10 minutes).

  2. Drain the noodles and return them to the cooking pot.

  3. Stir in butter or ghee, garlic salt, and parsley, then toss the noodles.

  4. Stir in peas, carrots, and broccoli and turn on low heat until the vegetables are heating through.

  5. Add Parmesan and black pepper, then serve.

Serving Suggestions:

You can add reconstituted freeze-dried chicken to this meal for extra protein.
