Soften Brown Sugar with Marshmallows

Heads up about brown sugar. Large Marshmallows. Kraft Jet-Puffed is best. Don't ask me why. I threw out a lot of brown sugar before I learned this. I tried everything, bread, a sugar thingy you put in with the sugar, and the microwave method. Nothing worked. Then somewhere I read about the marshmallows and thought why not. I put my brick of sugar in a large zip lock bag, loaded it with about six large marshmallows, and forgot about it - until I needed some (probably about 3 weeks.) I couldn't believe it. The sugar was as soft as when I bought it. The marshmallows had disintegrated a bit but the sugar tasted fine. Try it with your hardest brown sugar. I promise you'll be amazed.
