Vague and coming up with rock solid answers

So many books, so much info, but so vague. I run across this a lot with many booklets of info. We don't all cook alike & the cookie cutter list can be confusing. How much, how to, when to, why to, and home meds...this is good for this and that, have this in your medicine chest. Never how to fix, how much to put up, how often to take. Rock solid answer...Because we might need it someday and need to be prepared is not cutting it anymore. Maybe a different approach?
